Essential Oil Presentation -

To help fund the purchase of essential oils for residents, Homme Homes will sell the products to its employees and anyone else who is interested for a discounted rate. An educational program on the use and benefits of essential oils will be presented by Barbara Fett, RN of St. Paul Elder Services at Homme Homes Wittenberg campus at 1 p.m. on Friday, December 16. The program is open to the general public and the medical community.

Angel Appeal Kickoff:  Homme Home Foundation will once again send out letters and information on the Angel Appeal which will begin the first week in November.  Each year we look to our donors to continue their support of the Angel appeal and to provide strength to the Foundation through their giving.  The ability of the Homme Home Foundation to embrace its ministry of service and support resident programs is becoming more and more critical as financial cut backs at the State and Federal level reduce funding for critically needed services.  The Foundation will be able to help us absorb these funding cuts and continue for the future.  Your gift will sponsor an angel which be proudly displayed on one of the lobby trees which are located either on the Wittenberg Campus or the Forest Park Village, Wausau Campus.  A gift may be designated in memory of and/or in honor of a loved one or family member.  A donation of $500 or more will place a White Ribbon Angle on the tree, $250 a Gold Ribbon Angel, $100 a Silver Ribbon Angel, $50 a Blue Ribbon Angel, and $25 a Red Ribbon Angel.  In order to make your giving easier you may choose to make your donation to the Angel Appeal by using y our Visa or MasterCard.  After the holidays your angel will be sent to you as a keepsake and symbol of your belief in the Homme Home and quality Christian programs they have provided for over 129 years.

Mother’s  Day  Rose  Sale:  The Homme Home Foundation is sponsoring the 4^th Annual ROSE SALE for Mother’s Day as a way to honor mother’s and/or loved ones and provide support for the Resident Benevolence Program.  So join in remembering that very special person in your life on her very special day; “Mother’s Day,” with a beautiful rose bouquet.

Rose bouquets come in red, pink, yellow, or white.  The cost is $15 per dozen.  The roses will be delivered to either Forest Park Village in Wausau or Homme Home of Wittenberg (your choice of location) for pick up on May 6, 2011.  All orders must be placed by April 15, 2012.

If you are ordering the Roses for someone at Forest Park Village or Homme Home of Wittenberg, staff will be glad to deliver the bouquets for you.  Remember to include the gift message when ordering.  For other orders, please specify if roses should be delivered to Forest Park Village or the Homme Home of Wittenberg.  Roses may be picked up at 10:00 am on Friday, May 4, 2012 at either campus.
