MY INNERVIEW FAMILY
SURVEY RESULTS
In April of 2009 our nursing home residents and
families were asked to share their opinions with us
on how we, as a facility, do meeting the diverse
needs of our residents. Our families responded to
our survey, which is done annually and which compares
our services to other facilities.
Our sincere thanks goes out
to the residents and families who took the time to
respond to this annual event, which then compares Homme
to over 4,557 other facilities nationwide. The
information we receive from the survey is used as a key
part of our quality imporvement program and helps us
keep "our fingers on the pulse" of those we serve.
The survey, which is available for review by anyone who
is interested, gives both kudos and concerns for us to
work with some examples:
- 96% of our residents and
families expressed their overall satisfaction with our
services, staff, and facility.
- 95% of our residents and
families would recommend Homme to another
person.
- 95% of the respondents
certified the respectfulness of our staff as excellent
or good.
- 12% of the respondents
indicated that we need to do a better job in our
laundry services.
- 15% of the respondents
would like to see the facility provide better
opportunities for securing personal belongings of the
residents.
So as you can see, we
appreciate the many positive comments and will pledge
also to work hard to improve those areas that are of
concern to the residents and families.
